Sport, Adventure and Touring all wrapped up in one bike... well played BMW! Although as capable and versatile as the S1000 XR may be, the stock bum padding seems only suited to the sportier end of this combination without the support needed for Asphalt Adventure or Touring. Corbin set out to fix this deficiency with our Canyon Dual Sport design.

Corbin's high density Comfort Cell foam allows a clean profile while providing a firm supportive ride that lasts. Rider seating is ergonomically shaped to fit the curve of your body and provide better weight distribution. This also helps to eliminate the centralized pressure and "bunching" felt from the stock seat. In the nose area, we sculpt the saddle narrower to allow for ground reach.

Passenger seating area is designed with a neutralized platform to curb sliding forward in the saddle. Dished shaping provides an excellent contact patch while maintaining a clean look. This gives your passenger excellent comfort. For additional comfort and feeling of security, the Corbin saddle works with an optional removable passenger backrest. Simple to install with just a single bolt under the saddle and fully adjustable to provide a tailored fit.

We offer several backrest models to suit your taste visually and the degree of support desired. For the best combination of looks and support, we recommend the #BR model Ovalbac backrest shown. This backrest provides a generous, contoured contact patch for excellent support. Angle adjustment is simple and can be performed without removing the saddle or backrest from the bike.

Notice how close the Corbin saddle fits to the tank and sides... this kind of fit comes only from a Corbin saddle and our unique Fibertech basepan. Our rigid base material not only fits perfect to the bike, but provides a firm foundation to support the carefully designed foam shape. Corbin's ergonomic shaping creates a visually pleasing look on the motorcycle and adds to the custom appeal.

We've made this seat as low as practical with a focus on rider comfort and support. This makes the Corbin model taller than the OEM unit as we have taken out the sling shaping of the stock seat. Neutralizing the seating area not only relieves pressure on a very sensitive area *ahem*, it also helps to reduce fatigue on wrists and knees.

For an added luxurious touch, this saddle is available with the option of electric seat heaters. With the flip of a conveniently located switch built into the left side of the saddle, both the rider and passenger seating platforms will heat up and maintain temperature automatically. Simple to install with just a pigtail wiring to your bike's fusebox. All other components are built into the saddle and come preinstalled.

On top, we include genuine leather seating panels for a luxurious ride. The design shown above includes Black Natural grain leather seating with Matte Black vinyl contrasting sides with a tasteful color coordinated welt. A wide variety of material and color options are available to suit your taste. For an added custom touch, the embroidered Corbin logo in the side panel is dressed with the tri-colored bars of BMW.

We use genuine leather seating in all of our saddle models because it breathes with your body and will conform along with the foam shape during break in. This provides an added bit of luxury on those long rides. In the side panels, we use a coordinating vinyl material that will support the foam shape and keep the saddle looking sharp longer. Be sure to care for you leather saddle properly with a quality conditioner like our Saddle Cream. This will help the leather to remain supple and weather resistant while it matures gracefully.

Mounts to the motorcycle just like stock and secures with the BMW key lock system. All brackets are included and premounted on the seat so it's ready for immediate installation.

NOTE: Corbin products are designed to fit very close for cleanest look. Due to this, other accessories or options can inhibit proper fit. As an example: Tank Consoles (dashes), ignition modules, exhaust systems, sissy bars, etc. If you have accessories installed on your bike, please let us know so we can verify the fit for you. Corbin Accessories should never be used with missing or damaged hardware as this can create an unsafe situation for rider &/or passengers.

CUSTOM COVERS: You are always welcome to choose from our wide variety of colors and material options for your saddle. We provide these options at no extra charge as long as we can use our existing cover patterns. Creating a new cover design requires specialized custom work and will result in additional charges.

SADDLE WARRANTY: Basepan, foam and hardware of the Corbin saddle is warranted to the original owner for life. Cover materials, Heaters, Coolers and workmanship are warranted for one year. Product will only be authorized to be shipped back for refining of shape or to replace/rectify defective parts. In cases where the rework requires a new cover, a recover charge will be applied. Cash or credit refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization number (RMA).

FIBERGLASS WARRANTY: Structural integrity of Corbin fiberglass components are warranted to the original owner for life. Finish and paint are warranted against manufacturing defect for one year. Damage to product and / or painted surfaces from outside forces or misuse is specifically not covered under warranty. Cash or credit refunds are not available.
