Often imitated, but never duplicated, Corbin's popular Dual Tour is available for the Rocket III Touring model with the option of electric seat heaters! This seat provides you and a passenger with the most comfort and support available. Our sculpted seating gives proper weight distribution to allow long range comfort. Generously contoured platforms eliminate hot spots and centralized pressure that causes discomfort. On the inside, Corbin's exclusive Comfort Cell® foam material gives firm support that conforms to your body for a personalized fit. Naturally, we keep a nice flowing line on the bike that integrates with the vintage theme.
Built up on Corbin's Fibertech base material that fits perfect to every arc and contour of the machine. This rigid base gives the saddle a firm foundation to support the carefully designed ergonomics of the foam shape and provides the structural support to allow for dual backrest integration. Basepan rides on rubber bumpers to protect the paint job.
Corbin's Dual Touring Saddle accepts two optional removable rider's backrests and also works with the Triumph Sissy Bar or Corbin Trunkbox in the rear. Backrests are fully adjustable for a tailored fit to your posture and install or remove easily as desired. In the front we have engineered the backrest to fold down to make it easier to mount your bike. This special hardware (built into the saddle) also allows the backrest position fore and aft to be adjusted to your stature. Once the backrest is installed, both of these adjustments can be performed without removing the saddle from the motorcycle.
Naturally, you can use a single Corbin backrest that transfers front to back as needed or get two backrests for full time use. Installation of the Corbin backrest is easy enough to make this possible at a moments notice. Simply slide the backrest shaft into the built in hardware and secure it in place with the provided set screw.
The ergonomic design of the Dual Touring saddle also gives a nice flowing shape on the Rocket for a clean look. Inside the saddle, Corbin's Comfort Cell foam provides a nice firm perch that supports your body indefinitely and doesn't cave in like softer materials. Comfort Cell feels firm when you first ride on it, but it is this support that gives you day long comfort. That's why we always say "Firm is a good thing".
We use genuine leather seating panels for a luxurious ride that breathes with your body. Leather is extremely durable and will break in along with the foam shape to conform to your body. Dual Tour comes standard with natural grain Black Leather seating and Asphalt vinyl side panels for a subdued look that still appears custom. Tasteful stitch pattern in the seating areas adds a nice bit of flair.
This seat model also offers the option of electric heated seating. A single switch controls the heat for both the rider and passenger positions. The switch is conveniently located along the left side of the saddle so you can reach it without taking your hand off the throttle. The two position switch allows you to select a heat level depending on conditions. Level of heat is controlled automatically by a thermostat built into the control unit. Very simple to install into your stock wiring.
As a final bit of customization, Corbin's Ovalbac model backrests have interchangeable finishing plates on the rear. We've used the standard leather look style here, but there are a variety of options to suit your taste. If you're looking to add a bit of convenient storage, the rear finishing plate can be replaced wtih the Corbin exclusive Glovebox. This adds four liters of locking storage that is perfect for maps, cell phones, bottled water and other small travel essentials. Comes fully lined and weather stripped to protect cargo. Available in plain black ABS or prepainted gloss black for a little extra. See Accessories tab for ordering.
Installs easily on your bike with a tongue in the front and a single bolt in your fender at the rear. If you opt for electric heat, we include a wiring pigtail that integrates easily with your Triumph fusebox. All other heater components come preinstalled on the saddle.

FIBERTECH™ BASEPAN: A purpose built, hybrid material that provides a firm foundation to support the carefully designed ergonomics of the Corbin saddle. Provides a precision fit to every arc and contour of the machine and rides on rubber bumpers to protect your paint. We always design our basepans as flat as possible so bumps or odd shapes don't telegraph through the foam to your body. Click on the button at left to learn more...
COMFORT CELL® FOAM: The heart of the Corbin saddle! Our exclusive, purpose built foam material, called Comfort Cell, was created to provide a firm, resilient ride that doesn't break down. This means it will support you for long days on the road. Over time, Comfort Cell will break in to provide a personalized fit to your posture and even greater comfort! For the complete story just click the button.
ERGONOMIC SHAPING: A major part of the design criteria of the Corbin saddle is the Ergonomic shape. This means the saddle's foam shape is designed to emulate the curves of the human body. This provides more square inches of body contact and helps to eliminate hot spots. This shaping also neutralizes the seating platform to help curb sliding in the saddle which reduces fatigue. In a nutshell... more comfort for a longer ride! Just click the button at left for an animation that shows how it works.
PATENTED MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY: Always an innovator, Mike Corbin invented Integrated Molding technology which is now the process by which all Corbin saddles are made. This process allows extremely tight tolerances and creates a chemical bond between the foam and base material. To see what this is all about, just click the button for More Info
GENUINE LEATHER: We use leather in all panels of the seat that contact your body. This provides a luxurious ride that breathes with your body. Leather will also break in along with the foam shape to support the personalized fit. Available in a wide range of textures and styles to suit your taste. For more information about leather seating just click away.
CORBIN BACKREST SYSTEM: The first and most versatile removable backrest system available for motorcycles! Corbin's backrests provide added vertical back support and long range comfort. Supported by internal hardware for a very clean look. Backrests adjust to rider's profile for a tailored fit and install or remove easily as desired. A very popular option! ELECTRIC HEAT: As an option we can include electric heat in this saddle! This option provides a true bit of luxury for when the temperature starts to drop. Simple to install with major components pre-built into the saddle. Just wire in the included pigtail and you're ready to roll. Click the button at left for complete info...
Warning! Heater elements should never be installed in motorcycle seats used by riders that cannot sense heat.
Rider Seating: 15" wide x 15.5" long Passenger: 13" wide x 14" long Approx. seat height: 27"
This saddle is designed specifically to fit the Triumph Rocket III Touring model and does not fit the standard or Classic models of the Rocket III.
Installation: Dual Touring Saddle installs easily with brackets premounted on the seat. We do not use a snorkel over the airbox and instead let the bike pull air from the entire under seat area (this actually frees up airflow). Since the Corbin basepan forms over the edges of the frame, you needn't worry about water intrusion either.
To mount saddle, simply slide it into place nose first and secure the rear of the seat to your fender reusing the stock bolt.
We recommend removing the seat from the bike when washing. In the case of the Rocket III, remember to cover your airbox when doing this to stop water from getting into the airbox!
Corbin saddles (with very few exceptions) include Genuine Leather Seating to provide a luxurious look and feel.... don't let anybody tell you that vinyl is just as good! You wouldn't buy vinyl boots would you?
WARNING: Heater elements (when available) should never be installed in motorcycle seats that will be used by riders that cannot sense heat. This could create a hazardous condition.
Take good care of your new seat and the seat will take good care of you. Designed to help your leather saddle remain weather resistant and keeps the hide supple. This will allow the leather to break in and age gracefully. Great for boots, gloves & jackets too. Simple rub-in, buff out application. *More Info*
Our most popular backrest model is the perfect blend of form and function. The size looks visually appropriate on most every seat yet is large enough to provide good, sculpted support. Works well in either the rider's or passenger's position. The standard Ovalbac is available with a range of finishing plate options to dress up the rear including chrome! *More Info*
The standard Corbin backrest for years! This model is the same size and shape as the Standard Ovalbac above, but without the hole in the middle. Provides plenty of sculpted back support without looking too big on the bike. Works in both the rider or passenger seating area on virtually all Corbin saddle models. This model also has the option of chrome studs if desired. *More Info*
Like the Standard Ovalbac show above, but with a larger contact area for added support. Works great as a passenger backrest in Dual Touring models. Because of the added width, we do not recommend this model in the front position while carrying a passenger... it may interfere with their legs. Sculpted to provide wide ergonomic support. Offers a variety of finishing plate options to customize the rear (sorry, no chrome). *More Info*
This model is specially designed to be used in the large Dual Touring seats (like HD Baggers) or in Master's Type saddles as found on the Goldwings. Sculpted for extended support both vertically and horizontally, but cut away at the bottom to provide clearance for passenger's legs. A variety of finishing plate options are available to customize the rear. *More Info*
If you want the functionality of a backrest, but also want the smallest appearance possible, this is the backrest model for you. This one is most often used as a rider's backrest in Gunfighter seat models (thus the name). Includes a variety of finishing plate options for the rear. *More Info*
All the functionality of an adjustable backrest, combined with the smallest profile possible. This model is often used as a rider's backrest in Gunfighter seat models just like the #02-G shown above. Includes genuine leather seating and color coordinating options just like our saddles *More Info*
A convenient storage solution that looks great too. Corbin's Glove Box bolts up easily to your #02-S(B) model backrest in place of the rear finishing plate to provide four liters of locking storage. Available in primer or pre-painted. Some color matches are available depending on bike make and model. Comes fully lined too! *More Info*
