Ryker Rydes Interview
Video: Ryker Rydes interview with Mike Corbin
An outstanding Solo Saddle for your Can-Am. Designed to provide maximum rider comfort combined with a classy, clean look. Provides the use of our removable rider's backrest for a total of 10 inches of vertical back support. Our sculpted seating position gives maximized body contact and provides true touring comfort. Corbin's neutralized seating platform offers an easier reach to the ground and a more ergonomic position while reducing sliding.

Corbin's backrest offers an additional 10 inches of adjustable support and is easily installed with a single bolt. We have several styles of backrest to choose from but we visually prefer the #02-S model shown here. Naturally, you can choose any of the models we have available to suit your taste.

Our #02-S model backrests have removable finishing plates on the rear available in a range of styles. The standard plate is an ABS leather look, but we can also provide one with a carbon-fiber look or primer and ready for custom paint. For just a little extra, we can provide the finishing plate on your backrest prepainted Gloss Black. If your Ryker runs the truck, we offer a coordinated bump pad as a backrest option since the Corbin backrest does not work with the trunk in place.

All Corbin saddles are designed with what we call "Ergonomic Shaping". This means the saddle's seating area is shaped to fit the curve of your body and provide proper weight distribution. This also gives more square inches of body contact to help eliminate hot spots and centralized pressure.

Inside, our exclusive Comfort Cell foam provides a firm, resilient ride that lasts. Our foam is firmer than stock so it can support your body weight for long days on the road without breaking down. Over time, Comfort Cell will break in and take on your body shape for a personalized fit to your posture. Although Corbin seats feel firm when you first ride on them, it is this firmness that supports your body and helps the saddle work properly.

Built up on a Fibertech basepan that provides a solid, non-flexible platform to support the foam shape and provide the necessary structural integrity to support our backrest system. Basepan rides on rubber bumpers to protect you paint job and gives a perfect fit to the bike. Solo mounts using a bracket supplied by Corbin and bolt through an existing location.

As with all Corbin saddles, genuine leather seating is included in your choice of colors and styles. Leather makes a great seating material due to its durability and its ability to breathe with your body. Leather will also break in with the foam shape for a personalized fit. Coordinated vinyl side panels complete the look and keep your saddle shape tight. Just remember that you need to care for your leather saddle properly using a quality conditioner like our Saddle Cream. This will help your leather to stay water resistant and develop its own unique character as it ages.

If you'd like to add a handy bit of storage to your bike, the finishing plate on the rear of the Corbin backrest can be replaced with an optional Glovebox. Providing four liters of locking storage, the Glovebox is perfect for small travel essentials like spare gloves, cell phones, maps and bottled water. Available in plain black ABS or prepainted gloss black for a little extra. For complete details, please view the Accessory tab.

Note: The bike we borrowed had the rear rack option and therefore did not have the bodywork that would normally be located under the seat. The Corbin seat DOES work with this bodywork even though it is not shown in the images above. Corbin backrest will not install with the rack in place.

Ryker Rally: Corbin's front saddle will work on the Ryker Rally model, but does NOT work with the small side covers that attach to the seat. When using the Corbin saddle, these covers will not be used.
