Now available from Corbin's Workshop of Wizards is this outstanding Classic Solo Saddle & Passenger Pillion for the newest Dyna-Glides. This saddle was designed to provide maximum rider comfort combined with a classy, nostalgic look. It provides the use of our removable rider's backrest for 13 inches of vertical back support. Our sculpted seating gives maximized body contact and provides a bucket that gives plenty of lower back support. Our neutralized seat platform offers an easier reach to the ground and a more ergonomic position on the bike. We also offer a "Close" version for smaller riders that need an easier reach to the bars and the ground.
Corbin's removable rider backrest is simple to install and adjusts easily to your riding posture. Choose from a variety of backrest styles to suit your taste although we recommend the #02-S Ovalbac ® for a good combination of looks and support. A range of finishing plate options are available for the rear of the backrest to further customize the look.
For ultra-cool solo looks, you can run the Corbin Classic Solo Saddle by itself without a pillion seat. This allows you to show off that slick rear fender and still provides for use of the Corbin backrest if desired. We've incorporated a new saddle mounting system on the model that uses a key lock. This makes it extremely simple to install and remove the seat as desired. Since the Passenger seat bolts directly to the Corbin Solo, you can easily go from a solo look to dual with just one bolt and a key latch... Simple!
Corbin's passenger pillion seat keeps a sleek, vintage look with capabilities for passengers. We build this model low to look sly, but use our high density Comfort Cell® foam for a firm supportive ride. Our dished shaping in the pillion seat provides good contoured support and minimizes the tendency to slide in the saddle. This pillion works with your Harley-Davidson sissy bar / backrest if desired... we even offer a coordinated sissy bar pad to complete the look. Sorry, but the pillion seat does NOT install with the Close version of our solo saddle.
To further customize the look of your bike, we can provide a variety of back plate options on our Ovalbac ® series backrests. Our standard back plate has a leather look or you choose from any of the styles listed. We can even provide a backing plate that is prepainted gloss black for just a little extra or, of course, the slick new chromed steel model shown here.

We always design our basepans as flat as possible so bumps or odd shapes don't telegraph through the foam to your body. Click on the button at left to learn more...
COMFORT CELL® FOAM: The heart of the Corbin saddle! Our exclusive, purpose built foam material, called Comfort Cell, was created to provide a firm, resilient ride that doesn't break down. This means it will support you for long days on the road. Over time, Comfort Cell will break in to provide a personalized fit to your posture and even greater comfort! For the complete story just click the button.
ERGONOMIC SHAPING: A major part of the design criteria of the Corbin saddle is the Ergonomic shape. This means the saddle's foam shape is designed to emulate the curves of the human body. This provides more square inches of body contact and helps to eliminate hot spots. This shaping also neutralizes the seating platform to help curb sliding in the saddle which reduces fatigue. In a nutshell... more comfort for a longer ride! Just click the button at left for an animation that shows how it works.
PATENTED MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY: Always an innovator, Mike Corbin invented Integrated Molding technology which is now the process by which all Corbin saddles are made. This process allows extremely tight tolerances and creates a chemical bond between the foam and base material. To see what this is all about, just click the button for More Info
GENUINE LEATHER: We use leather in all panels of the seat that contact your body. This provides a luxurious ride that breathes with your body. Leather will also break in along with the foam shape to support the personalized fit. Available in a wide range of textures and styles to suit your taste. [Page 1] Corbin's Classic Solo and pillion use a new key-lock system. When used with a passenger pillion seat, Solo and pillion bolt together and install as a single unit with a screw into your fender at the rear in addition to the key latch. For tool free installation, use one of our chromed billet thumbscrews (#ACST).
To enable the key lock system, install the included bracket onto your chassis as shown here. This will provide a latch pin on the bike for saddle to mount to.
If using the passenger seat, mount it to the Classic Solo and install both pieces together as a single unit. Slide the nose of the Classic Solo into place with the tongue into the chassis and lower the solo onto the latching pin installed previously. Now install the stock screw into your fender through the chrome tab of the passenger seat. For an even simpler installation, use one of our chromed billet thumbscrews in place of your stock screw.
Passenger Pillion seat does not work with "Close" solo saddle.
Corbin saddles (with very few exceptions) include Genuine Leather Seating to provide a luxurious look and feel.... don't let anybody tell you that vinyl is just as good! You wouldn't buy vinyl boots would you?
WARNING: Heater elements (when available) should never be installed in motorcycle seats that will be used by riders that cannot sense heat. This could create a hazardous condition.
Take good care of your new seat and the seat will take good care of you. Designed to help your leather saddle remain weather resistant and keeps the hide supple. This will allow the leather to break in and age gracefully. Great for boots, gloves & jackets too. Simple rub-in, buff out application. *More Info*

Our most popular backrest model is the perfect blend of form and function. The size looks visually appropriate on most every seat yet is large enough to provide good, sculpted support. Works well in either the rider's or passenger's position. The standard Ovalbac is available with a range of finishing plate options to dress up the rear including chrome! *More Info*
The standard Corbin backrest for years! This model is the same size and shape as the Standard Ovalbac above, but without the hole in the middle. Provides plenty of sculpted back support without looking too big on the bike. Works in both the rider or passenger seating area on virtually all Corbin saddle models. This model also has the option of chrome studs if desired. *More Info*
Like the Standard Ovalbac show above, but with a larger contact area for added support. Works great as a passenger backrest in Dual Touring models. Because of the added width, we do not recommend this model in the front position while carrying a passenger... it may interfere with their legs. Sculpted to provide wide ergonomic support. Offers a variety of finishing plate options to customize the rear (sorry, no chrome). *More Info*
This model is specially designed to be used in the large Dual Touring seats (like HD Baggers) or in Master's Type saddles as found on the Goldwings. Sculpted for extended support both vertically and horizontally, but cut away at the bottom to provide clearance for passenger's legs. A variety of finishing plate options are available to customize the rear. *More Info*
If you want the functionality of a backrest, but also want the smallest appearance possible, this is the backrest model for you. This one is most often used as a rider's backrest in Gunfighter seat models (thus the name). Includes a variety of finishing plate options for the rear. *More Info*
