So we kind of went a different direction from the proto-type that we showed in this spot initially. After much deliberation and some very good customer feedback regarding our
Hayabusa rear fender kit, we decided it would be the right direction for the V-Max. As you can see, taking a few bits off the back end and converting to a small fender like this one really toughens things up visually.
Constructed of durable ABS, the Corbin undertail kit provides a very clean appearance and tightens things up under the fender. It comes to you painted to coordinate with the Yamaha anodized bits on the bike for a truly integrated look. Works with your stock turn signals and mounts up without any chassis or bodywork modifications.
The Corbin undertail kit includes a chrome license plate frame with built in lights to keep things good-n-legal. While we wouldn't go so far as to say that installation is simple, we WILL say that it is not difficult although it is a bit time consuming. As mentioned, there is no drilling or modification required, but expect to spend a little time in assembly and disassembly of the rear end. Complete instructions are included.
They say a picture is worth 1,000 words, so we'll let the images above speak for themselves. Enjoy.
