Corbin's classically styled Gunfighter provides the SR400 with a vintage racebike look while providing excellent rider comfort. The smooth profile of the saddle matches that of the bike, blending with the overall scheme of the machine and emulating the design of the tank. Changes the look of the motorcycle and gives it a cafe racer theme.
Our high density Comfort Cell foam allows a sleek, low profile while providing a firm supportive ride that lasts. Ergonomic shaping in the seating provides good ground reach, excellent back support and better weight dispersion for more time in the saddle. This also helps to eliminate the centralized pressure felt from the stock seat. In the nose area, we sculpt the saddle narrow to allow for good ground reach. Passenger area is designed solely for looks, but is padded and upholstered so it can take passengers for short trips. Works with the factory chrome grab rail, but we prefer the looks without it.
Notice how close the Corbin saddle fits to the tank and sides... this kind of fit comes only from a Corbin saddle and our unique Fibertech basepan. Our rigid base material not only fits perfect to the bike, but provides a firm foundation to support the carefully designed foam shape. Corbin's ergonomic shaping creates a visually pleasing look on the motorcycle and adds to the custom appeal.
On top we include genuine leather seating panels for a luxurious ride. We offer a wide selection of color and texture options at no extra charge. The cover shown here includes Black Natural Grain leather seating with Champagne colored diamond stitching, Taupe welts, Asphalt sides and Carbonium tail section.
We use genuine leather seating in all of our saddle models because it breathes with your body and will conform along with the foam shape during break in. This provides an added bit of luxury on those long rides. In the side panels, we use a vinyl material that will support the foam shape and keep the saddle looking sharp longer. Be sure to care for you leather saddle properly with a quality conditioner like our Saddle Cream. This will help the leather to remain supple and weather resistant while it matures gracefully.
Installs on the SR400 similar to stock with tabs in the front and two bolts at the rear through the chassis and into the seat. When installing the Corbin saddle, we include a bracket that mounts to the top of the seat mount pillars with the stock bolts (see Notes tab). Corbin saddle does not use the plastic cowl from the OEM seat. Corbin's Gunfighter saddle may fit the early 1978 and up SR400s and SR500s, but we have not been able to test them yet.

ERGONOMIC SHAPING:
A major part of the design criteria of the Corbin saddle is its
ergonomic shape. This means the saddle's foam shape is designed
to emulate the curves of the human body. This provides more
square inches of body contact and helps eliminate hot spots.
This shaping also neutralizes the seating platform to help curb
sliding in the saddle, which reduces fatigue. In a nutshell:

PATENTED MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY:
Always an innovator, Mike Corbin invented Integrated Molding
technology, which is now the process by which all Corbin

SADDLE WARRANTY:
Basepan, foam and hardware of the Corbin saddle is warranted to the original
owner for life. Cover materials, Heaters and workmanship are warranted for
one year. Product will only be authorized to be shipped back for refining of
shape or to replace/rectify defective parts. In cases where the rework requires
a new cover, a recover charge will be applied. Cash or credit refunds are not
available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be
accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization number (RMA).
FIBERGLASS WARRANTY:
Structural integrity of Corbin fiberglass components are warranted to the
original owner for life. Finish and paint are warranted against manufacturing
defect for one year. Damage to product and / or painted surfaces from outside
forces or misuse is specifically not covered under warranty. Cash or credit
refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service
consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material
Authorization (RMA) number.
