Stinger saddle keeps a low slammed look, yet provides plenty of comfort for the rider. Our high density Comfort Cell® foam provides resilient comfort and a low seating platform that looks awesome. Shape of the saddle follows the contours of your bike and molds along the crown and profile of the fender. Only genuine Corbin saddles provide this kind of fit combined with perfected function.
In the front, we've built a seating platform that is concave in shape to fit the contour of your body and provide more square inches of body contact. Separated seating platform removes central pressure while providing support where you need it. This gives excellent comfort despite the low profile design. Sculpted with a narrow nose for good ground reach while providing support under your thighs while in the riding position. Stinger tail section is padded and upholstered so you can ride passengers on it, but don't expect them to be happy for long.
Works with optional Corbin backrest for added support. Backrests feature angle adjustment to tailor it's fit to riding posture. Special hardware inside the saddle makes a very clean installation and provides backrest position adjustment fore and aft. On this seat model, the Corbin hardware also allows the backrest to fold down to ease mounting the bike. Choose from a range of backrest styles to suit your taste. Installation of the Corbin backrest is simple and does not require the seat to be removed from the bike... just a single bolt locks it in place.
Inside, Comfort Cell® foam gives you firm support that lasts all day because it doesn't crush down like the soft stock foam. Over time, Comfort Cell® will adapt to your body and provide a personalized fit. Under the foam, our rigid Fibertech basepan fits perfectly to your bike and provides a good foundation to keep the foam shape correct. Corbin basepans ride on rubber bumpers to protect your paint job from scratching. Installation is simple and works on your exiting Yamaha seat lock.
Includes genuine leather seating for a luxurious feel. As an added custom touch, choose from a range of leather materials to use as the center stripe and tail section. In the images above, we used black faux ostrich leather, but if you prefer a more sedate look, order yours with plain black inserts. Tasteful stitch pattern and asphalt vinyl sides complete the look.
Leather seating is perfect for motorcycle saddles because it breathes with your body and will conform with the foam shape for a personalized fit after break in. ERGONOMIC SHAPING:
A major part of the design criteria of the Corbin saddle is its
ergonomic shape. This means the saddle's foam shape is designed
to emulate the curves of the human body. This provides more
square inches of body contact and helps eliminate hot spots.
This shaping also neutralizes the seating platform to help curb
sliding in the saddle, which reduces fatigue. In a nutshell:

PATENTED MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY:

This saddle model uses a new mounting system designed by Corbin

Installation:
Stinger seat installs like stock with all brackets preinstalled on the saddle. Simply slide the seat into position tail first and lower the nose of the seat down to latch with the Yamaha key lock.
NOTE: To ease installation until the rubber bumper on the basepan break in, it may be necessary to add a washer between the seatpan and latch bracket. This will make it easier to latch.

Heater elements (when available) should never be installed in

SADDLE WARRANTY:
Basepan, foam and hardware of the Corbin saddle is warranted to the original
owner for life. Cover materials, Heaters and workmanship are warranted for
one year. Product will only be authorized to be shipped back for refining of
shape or to replace/rectify defective parts. In cases where the rework requires
a new cover, a recover charge will be applied. Cash or credit refunds are not
available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be
accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization number (RMA).
FIBERGLASS WARRANTY:
Structural integrity of Corbin fiberglass components are warranted to the
original owner for life. Finish and paint are warranted against manufacturing
defect for one year. Damage to product and / or painted surfaces from outside
forces or misuse is specifically not covered under warranty. Cash or credit
refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service
consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material
Authorization (RMA) number.
