An outstanding Solo Saddle & Passenger Pillion for your Triumph. Designed to provide maximum rider comfort combined with a classy, nostalgic look. Provides the use of our removable rider's backrest for a total of 12 inches of vertical back support. Our sculpted seating position gives maximized body contact and provides true touring comfort. Corbin's neutralized seating platform offers an easier reach to the ground and a more ergonomic position while reducing sliding.
Our Classic Solo Saddle accepts the Corbin removable backrest. Corbin's backrest offers an additional 9 inches of adjustable support and is easily installed with a single bolt. We have several styles of backrest to choose from but we visually prefer the #02-S model shown here. Naturally, you can choose any of the models we have available to suit your taste.
Our #02-S model backrests have removable finishing plates on the rear available in a range of styles. The standard plate is an ABS leather look, but we can also provide one with a carbon-fiber look or primer and ready for custom paint. For just a little extra, we can provide the finishing plate on your backrest prepainted Gloss Black. These make a perfect finishing touch.
All Corbin saddles are designed with what we call "Ergonomic Shaping". This means the saddle's seating area is shaped to fit the curve of your body and provide proper weight distribution. This also gives more square inches of body contact to help eliminate hot spots and centralized pressure.
Inside, our exclusive Comfort Cell foam provides a firm, resilient ride that lasts. Our foam is firmer than stock so it can support your body weight for long days on the road without breaking down. Over time, Comfort Cell will break in and take on your body shape for a personalized fit to your posture. Although Corbin seats feel firm when you first ride on them, it is this firmness that supports your body and helps the saddle work properly.
Built up on a Fibertech basepan that provides a solid, non-flexible platform to support the foam shape and provide the necessary structural integrity to support our backrest system. Basepan rides on rubber bumpers to protect you paint job and gives a perfect fit to every arc and curve of the bike. Solo saddle mounts using an integrated key lock, while the Corbin pillion installs like stock with the bracket transferred from your OEM pillion seat.
Corbin’s rear seat (Pillion Pad) keeps a sleek, vintage look with long range capabilities for passengers. We build this model to look sly, but use our high density Comfort Cell® foam for a firm supportive ride. Ergonomically engineered for better weight dispersion. Naturally it is built to match your Classic Solo for a totally integrated look. If you choose, you can use the Corbin Classic Solo in the front along with your stock Triumph passenger pad.
As with all Corbin saddles, genuine leather seating is included in your choice of colors and styles. Leather makes a great seating material due to its durability and its ability to breathe with your body. Leather will also break in with the foam shape for a personalized fit. Coordinated vinyl side panels complete the look and keep your saddle shape tight. Just remember that you need to care for your leather saddle properly using a quality conditioner like our Saddle Cream. This will help your leather to stay water resistant and develop its own unique character as it ages.
For an added bit of luxury on those chilly morning rides, our Classic Solo is available with an internal seat heater. With a simple flip of the conveniently located switch, the saddle will warm up and maintain temperature automatically. Heater and controller are built inside the saddle and preinstalled. We include a wiring pigtail that integrates with your Triumph fuse box for simple installation.
If you'd like to add a handy bit of storage to your bike, the finishing plate on the rear of the Corbin backrest can be replaced with an optional Glovebox. Providing four liters of locking storage, the Glovebox is perfect for small travel essentials like spare gloves, cell phones, maps and bottled water.
