The Rocket 3 is an amazing bike and we really appreciate the inspired visuals. Unfortunately when it came to the stock license plate mounting arrangement we found ourselves inspired to create something different.
As you can see, taking a few bits off the back end and converting to a small fender like this one really cleans things up visually! We completely removed the shock and built this fender with the wheel fully compressed to assure there would be no clearance issues.
Constructed of durable ABS with a steel mounting bracket, the Corbin undertail kit provides a very clean appearance and tightens things up under the fender. It comes prepainted in OEM colors to keep the look clean. We currently have matches for Phantom Black, Korosi Red and Storm Grey.
Corbin's undertail fender works with your stock turn signals and a license plate light built into the frame. Mounts up without any chassis or bodywork modifications.
We include a chrome license plate frame with LED lighting built in for your plate. While we wouldn't go so far as to say that installation is simple, we WILL say that it is not difficult although it is a bit time consuming. As mentioned, there is no drilling or modification required, but expect to spend a little time rerouting the wiring for the turn signals. Complete instructions are included.
