Naturally, we set out to design a seat to fit the bike visually as well as improving the quality of your ride... Corbin's saddle does just that! Our high density Comfort Cell foam allows a sleek, low profile while providing a firm supportive ride that lasts. Rider seating is ergonomically shaped to fit the curve of your body and provide better weight distribution. This also helps to eliminate the centralized pressure felt from the stock seat. In the nose area, we sculpt the saddle narrow to allow for good ground reach.
For a solo look, the Gunfighter tail section is shaped to emulate the lines of the bodywork with a fastback tail section. On the inside, the tail is padded and upholstered to provide for short trip passenger capability. Although the shaping of the tail is designed primarily for looks, the Comfort Cell foam still provides a good perch for your copilot on short to medium length trips.
Notice how close the Corbin saddle fits to the bodywork... this kind of fit comes only from a Corbin saddle and our unique Fibertech basepan. Our rigid base material not only fits perfect to the bike, but provides a firm foundation to support the carefully designed foam shape. Corbin's ergonomic shaping creates a visually pleasing look on the motorcycle and adds to the custom appeal.
On top, we include genuine leather seating panels for a luxurious ride. Shown here we've used black Carbon-Fiber seating up front with Asphalt vinyl contrasting sides, Carbonium tail and Silver logo for clean, sporty looks.
We prefer leather seating in our saddle models because it breathes with your body and will conform along with the foam shape during break in. This provides an added bit of luxury on those long rides. In the side panels, we use a coordinating vinyl material that will support the foam shape and keep the saddle looking sharp longer. Be sure to care for you leather saddle properly with a quality conditioner like our Saddle Cream. This will help the leather to remain supple and weather resistant while it matures gracefully.
We made this saddle as low as practical while maintaining the best possible seating comfort and removing the downward slant of the stock seat. This effectively raises the seat height slightly from the OEM unit. The production saddle is slightly lower than the prototype model used for photography above.

ERGONOMIC SHAPING:
A major part of the design criteria of the Corbin saddle is its
ergonomic shape. This means the saddle's foam shape is designed
to emulate the curves of the human body. This provides more
square inches of body contact and helps eliminate hot spots.
This shaping also neutralizes the seating platform to help curb
sliding in the saddle, which reduces fatigue. In a nutshell:

PATENTED MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY:
Always an innovator, Mike Corbin invented Integrated Molding

SADDLE WARRANTY:
Basepan, foam and hardware of the Corbin saddle is warranted to the original
owner for life. Cover materials, Heaters and workmanship are warranted for
one year. Product will only be authorized to be shipped back for refining of
shape or to replace/rectify defective parts. In cases where the rework requires
a new cover, a recover charge will be applied. Cash or credit refunds are not
available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be
accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization number (RMA).
FIBERGLASS WARRANTY:
Structural integrity of Corbin fiberglass components are warranted to the
original owner for life. Finish and paint are warranted against manufacturing
defect for one year. Damage to product and / or painted surfaces from outside
forces or misuse is specifically not covered under warranty. Cash or credit
refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service
consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material
Authorization (RMA) number.
