After an initial break-in period, Comfort Cell® foam will adapt to your body to provide an even greater degree of comfort. Additionally, the seating platforms have been neutralized to reduce the tendency to slide towards the tank under braking. Notice also how the seat is shaped to provide support for your legs while your feet are on the footpegs, but is shaved in the nose area to allow good ground reach.
Our Fibertech basepan creates a firm foundation for the foam shape and keeps the carefully designed ergonomics intact. Engineered to fit every contour of the Hayabusa and provide a perfect fit. Under the saddle, rubber bumpers keep your paint job safe from scuffing. Both front and rear saddles mount like stock and come with brackets preinstalled on the saddle.
Corbin front saddle works with your Suzuki seat cowling in the rear or with the Corbin rear seat. Our rear seat is designed to work with or without the handrail installed and provides for the use of an optional adjustable passenger backrest. Backrest installs easily and locks in place with a single bolt. Choose from a range of backrest styles to suit your taste. We recommend the model #02-SB shown here for the best combination of looks and support.
Please note: Although the 'Busa is primarily a sport bike with a forward riding posture, we have built the backrest into the rear seat for those who ride long distances or whose passengers want additional security. The backrest provides excellent support when passenger is in an upright posture (for example with their hands on the hand rail). When passengers are in a "sport" position and leaned forward, the backrest offers excellent security, but naturally does not support the lower back.
Corbin saddles and backrests come standard with genuine leather seating inserts for a true touch of luxury. We recommend our Carbon Fiber laminated leather seating with Asphalt vinyl sides for a nice accent. Leather will provide a seating surface that breathes with your body and will adapt with the foam during break in for a perfectly personalized fit.
If you are looking to add a nice bit of functional storage to your Gixxer, Corbin offers a Glovebox option that mounts on our #02-SB and #297-B backrest models. Providing four liters of convenient, lockable storage that is just perfect for maps, gloves, cell phones and bottled water. Weather stripped and lined on the inside to protect your cargo. ERGONOMIC SHAPING:
A major part of the design criteria of the Corbin saddle is its
ergonomic shape. This means the saddle's foam shape is designed
to emulate the curves of the human body. This provides more
square inches of body contact and helps eliminate hot spots.
This shaping also neutralizes the seating platform to help curb
sliding in the saddle, which reduces fatigue. In a nutshell:

PATENTED MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY:
Always an innovator, Mike Corbin invented Integrated Molding
technology, which is now the process by which all Corbin

SADDLE WARRANTY:
Basepan, foam and hardware of the Corbin saddle is warranted to the original
owner for life. Cover materials, Heaters and workmanship are warranted for
one year. Product will only be authorized to be shipped back for refining of
shape or to replace/rectify defective parts. In cases where the rework requires
a new cover, a recover charge will be applied. Cash or credit refunds are not
available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be
accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization number (RMA).
FIBERGLASS WARRANTY:
Structural integrity of Corbin fiberglass components are warranted to the
original owner for life. Finish and paint are warranted against manufacturing
defect for one year. Damage to product and / or painted surfaces from outside
forces or misuse is specifically not covered under warranty. Cash or credit
refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service
consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material
Authorization (RMA) number.
