Dual Saddle
2014-2017 Suzuki Burgman 200
Versatility, comfort and style... all words Suzuki uses to describe the Burgman 200. That just happens to be the three words we'd use to describe our dual saddle for the smallest of the Burgman clan.
Large, ergonomically shaped seating buckets provide excellent weight distribution for a high level of comfort and support. Designed to provide good lower back support and works with an optional backrest in the rider seating area. With backrest installed, the saddle provides 13" of vertical support up front.
Corbin backrest is simple to install and adjusts easily to your riding posture. Just slide the backrest shaft into the internal hardware and lock it in place with a single bolt. You can then set the backrest angle to your preferred setting and lock it in with the easily accessible adjustment screw. Choose from a variety of backrest styles to suit your taste although we recommend the #02-S Ovalbac (shown) for a good combination of looks and support.
To supply total comfort, the Corbin backrest is sculpted just like the saddle to provide an ergonomic fit to your body and give you support without pressure points. Because of the availability and popularity of the Suzuki trunk, we did not engineer this saddle to work with the Corbin backrest in the rear.
Seat and backrest are built up with our exclusive Comfort Cell® foam. Comfort Cell® is nearly twice as firm as the stock foam so it offers long lasting support. This closed cell foam retains resilience indefinitely and will actually break in to take on your shape as the miles roll by. Under the foam our rigid Fibertech basepan is specially designed to support the foam shape and fit perfectly to every contour of your bike.
Genuine leather seating is included with your choice of colors and style. Leather is a great seating surface for saddles because it is a natural product that will breathe and not trap too much heat against your body. It will also break in along with the foam shape and provide a personalized fit. Just be sure to care for it properly with a quality conditioner like our Saddle Cream. This will help your seat to remain weather resistant and age gracefully while it develops its own unique character (just like a leather jacket).
Installs onto your stock Suzuki hinge and uses a rear bracket that integrates with the OEM key lock. Due to the rigid basepan and internal backrest support hardware, the Corbin saddle is heavier than the stock seat. In most cases the OEM spring will have enough tension to keep the Corbin saddle in the lifted position when needed. Just to be sure, we also integrated a fold down prop rod that can be used to hold the seat up if, over time, your stock spring can no longer hold the seat up. Saddle also includes weather stripping preinstalled to provide a good seal for your storage area.
This saddle cover has been updated to use our new backrest hardware cover with the sliding door as shown here. To install the backrest, just slide the cover over to the side. When the backrest is not needed, just slide it closed. It doesn't get easier than that! Click image for details.
