Notice how our ergonomic shaping provides a generous pocket that provides good lower back support. This deep, dished shaping cradles your body and gives firm support for longer riding range. Towards the front of the saddle we've sculpted the nose narrower to provide good reach to the pavement. Likewise, the nose of the saddle climbs gracefully up the tank slightly to curb the tendency to slide foward.
Features a fastback tail section for a very clean look that hugs the fender and looks sly. Naturally, the tail section is padded and upholstered to provide for short trip passengers, but don't expect them to be happy back there for too long. This tail section also allowed us to build up the rider seating area a little higher which creates that nice lower back support.
Features genuine leather seating for a perch that breathes with your body and breaks in with the foam shape for a personalized fit. Choose from a variety of leather styles to customize the look like the model shown on this page. This seat uses our carbon-fiber leather in the seating area with carbon-fiber embossed vinyl sides to complete the look. Naturally we can make your saddle all plain black for a more stealthy, subtle appearance if you prefer.
We've recently added a new cover pattern that features a classic diamond stitch in the seating and double row stitch along the seating assembly line. Choice of stitching colors to add another custom yet subtle touch to your Norton. Simply select "No Stitch" in the order description if you prefer the more stealthy look.
Leather makes an excellent cover for a motorcycle seat because it is extremely durable and luxurious to ride on. Just be sure to care for it properly with a quality leather conditioner like our Saddle Cream. This will help your saddle to resist the elements and remain supple and nice looking. Over time your leather cover will age and develop its own unique character just like a leather jacket. ERGONOMIC SHAPING:
A major part of the design criteria of the Corbin saddle is its
ergonomic shape. This means the saddle's foam shape is designed
to emulate the curves of the human body. This provides more
square inches of body contact and helps eliminate hot spots.
This shaping also neutralizes the seating platform to help curb

PATENTED MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY:
Always an innovator, Mike Corbin invented Integrated Molding
technology, which is now the process by which all Corbin
saddles are made. This process allows extremely tight
tolerances and creates a chemical bond between the foam and
base material.

KEY LOCK INSTALLATION:
This saddle model uses a new mounting system designed by Corbin
to allow installation and removal with a simple key lock. Once
the included brackets are installed, the saddle can be removed
easily by simply inserting and turning the key.

Installation: Installs easily with Corbin's new integrated key lock system. Latch mechanism and key lock are built into the saddle for simple mounting.
Simply install this bracket onto your Commando's chassis as shown. This provides the latch pin for the integrated lock. Once this bracket is installed, the saddle locks onto your bike by just lowering it into position. Placement of the rubber bumpers assures it stays in position and doesn't move around.
NOTE: Attaches to standard Commando with no modifications. Fits with small Roadster tank from 1970 up.

SADDLE WARRANTY:
Basepan, foam and hardware of the Corbin saddle is warranted to the original
owner for life. Cover materials, Heaters and workmanship are warranted for
one year. Product will only be authorized to be shipped back for refining of
shape or to replace/rectify defective parts. In cases where the rework requires
a new cover, a recover charge will be applied. Cash or credit refunds are not
available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be
accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization number (RMA).
FIBERGLASS WARRANTY:
Structural integrity of Corbin fiberglass components are warranted to the
original owner for life. Finish and paint are warranted against manufacturing
defect for one year. Damage to product and / or painted surfaces from outside
forces or misuse is specifically not covered under warranty. Cash or credit
refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service
consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material
Authorization (RMA) number.
