Dual Touring Saddle

Dual Touring saddle offers the option of a removable backrest in the rider and passenger seating areas. With backrest installed, the Rider's position provides nearly eighteen inches of vertical back support that adjusts! Naturally your copilot will enjoy additional comfort and security with the Corbin backrest too. We offer several backrest models to choose from, but the most popular is our new Ovalbac® style shown here. Order either a single backrest and transfer it front to back as needed, or order two for full time use. Corbin's Dual Touring saddle also works with the Hondaline sissybar if you prefer.

For an added vintage touch on your bike, we offer an optional chrome v-rail (shown). This grabrail mounts directly to special installation points in the Corbin saddle and gives an added nostalgic touch. Naturally we polish it and plate it with show quality chrome for a killer look. Sorry, but if you are using the Hondaline sissy bar, our Chrome V-rail will not fit on your saddle for clearance reasons. However, you can use the Corbin V-Rail with or without a backrest as these two features are completely independant of each other.

All components include genuine leather seating in your choice of styles for a truly distinctive touch. Choose from an all black saddle with chrome studs or use any of our faux-exotic skins (see general information section for saddle options). We have a wide variety to choose from to suit any taste and all are included at no additional charge. Leather seating provides a very distinctive look and a luxurious ride that breathes with your body. Additionally, it will break in along with the foam shape to give you a personalized fit to your posture over time.

The Corbin backrest is simple to install with just a single bolt under the saddle. We've integrated the hardware into the seat so there are no unsightly brackets to clutter up the look of your bike. Corbin removable backrests are fully adjustable to provide a tailored fit and adjust without removing the backrest from the saddle. In the front position, there is an added adjustment that allows the backrest to be positioned fore and aft to allow for riders of different stature. This special hardware is also spring loaded to allow the backrest to fold down and out of the way while you throw your leg over the bike.

With multiple backrest models to choose from, things can get kind of confusing. Personally, we prefer the standard Ovalbac model #02-S as shown here. These provide excellent, sculpted support and look visually correct on the bike. They also offer interchangeable backing plates for a custom look. Available in a standard ABS leather look or choose from Carbon-Fiber look, Aluminum look or even primer if you'd like to have it custom painted. For a little extra, we can provide your finshing plate pre-painted to match your factory paint job or a new chromed steel model that looks radical on nice cruisers like the VTX.

Your leather saddle will provide great comfort and be your riding buddy for years if you care for it properly. A good conditioner like our Saddle Cream will keep the leather weather resistant and supple for a long time. Naturally this will aide the aging process and your leather seat will develop its own unique character just like your leather jacket. Leather will also break in along with the exclusive Corbin Comfort Cell foam to provide a personalized fit to your body over time.

Our saddle provides a perfect fit that contours the shape of your Honda fender and installs easily with a single screw into your fender at the rear. All mounting brackets come preinstalled on the seat so it is ready to go right out of the box. Just slide the nose tongue into the chassis and lower the seat into position on your fender. Reinstall the stock screw into the fender and you're back on the road. For a clean installation, use one of our chromed billet thumbscrews (#ACST-6M). These thumbscrews come to you triple-plate chromed for show quality looks while providing tool-free installation.

I ordered a touring seat for my 1300 VTX. I picked it up at the Daytona Show room on the 17th of August after riding down from Augusta, Georgia. I was really disappointed with the stock seat and could not wait to get my new Corbin. On the way home I really got a chance to break in the seat and I loved it. By the time I got home, not only did I not have a sore butt, I rode to show it off to some friends!!!!! I love my seat!!!
