Dual Touring Saddle

Dual Touring Saddle accepts two removable rider's backrests for added back support. Our backrests are fully adjustable to provide a tailored fit to individual's posture. Support hardware is internal to the saddle to keep a clean look without external contraptions. In the front, we've engineered a second adjustment that allows the position of the rest to be adjusted fore/aft. This special hardware also allows the backrest to fold down to ease mounting the bike. Use a single backrest transferred front to back as needed or order two backrests for full time use.

Backrest installation is easy, simply slide the backrest shaft into the built in hardware and secure it in place with the provided setscrew. There is no need to remove the saddle from the bike for this procedure. Once the backrest is installed, all adjustments can be performed without removing the saddle. Like the saddle itself, Corbin backrests are shaped to fit the curve of your body for better fit and greater comfort. If you prefer, our Dual Touring saddle will also work with your Honda sissy bar system instead of the rear passenger backrest.

As you can see, the ergonomic design of the Dual Touring saddle also gives a nice flowing shape on the bike for a clean look. Inside the saddle, Corbin's Comfort Cell® foam provides a nice firm perch that supports your body indefinitely and doesn't cave in like softer materials. Comfort Cell feels firm when you first ride on it, but it is this support that gives you day long comfort. That's why we always say "Firm is a good thing". Using a firmer foam material also allows us to provide superior support even with lower seating platforms... this helps us engineer seats that look great too!

Standard options for your Dual Touring seat are our Chrome V-Rail and electric heater units. Corbin seat heaters are completely built into the saddle so they're simple to install. We include everything you need to wire into your stock harness and enjoy heated luxury on those chilly morning rides. Two position switch allows you to choose high or low setting that is maintained automatically. Our Chrome V-Rail bolts up to the Dual Tour saddle for a nice nostalgic touch. V-Rail mounts directly to points built into the saddle for a very clean look and comes delivered in Triple plate show quality chrome.

We use genuine leather seating panels for a luxurious ride that breathes with your body. Our tasteful "04 deco" stitch pattern comes standard for an added bit of flair (required on heated models). Leather is extremely durable and will break in along with the foam shape to conform to your body. Be sure to care for your leather saddle properly with a quality conditioner like our Saddle Cream. This will help the hied to resist the elements and remain supple. The leather seating will conform along with the foam shape and provide a personalized fit to your posterior. Over time, your leather saddle will develop its own unique character just like your leather jacket does.

Another option for your saddle system is removable finishing plates on the rear of the Ovalbac model backrests (#02-S shown). Our standard finishing plate is a leather look ABS, but we can also supply a Carbon-Fiber look or primer if you'd like to have it custom painted. For just a little extra, we can provide an ABS plate prepainted gloss black or even a chrome steel model like the ones shown here. This looks particularly at home on the big VTX cruiser.

If you're looking to add a little storage space to your VTX, how 'bout this cool new glovebox for the rear of your Ovalbac backrest (#02-S only). Designed to carry four liters of your essential stuff like cell phones, spare gloves, bottled water, maps and sunglasses. Constructed of durable ABS and painted gloss black for a perfect finish.
