High Capacity Lid for 2018 - 2020 Gold Wing 1800 Tour
Add approximately* Nine liters of storage to your Gold Wing's trunk with Corbin's replacement lid. Add in Corbin's saddlebag doors and increase your Gold Wing's capacity by nearly 20 liters total!
Our trunk lid blends perfectly with the design of the Gold Wing for a clean, integrated look. Built to add additional height for more storage without any modification to the Honda trunk itself. This keeps installation simple and means there is no cutting or irreversible changes made to your bike.
The additional storage comes in extremely handy and the added inch and a half in height adds a little more back support for your passenger. Honda trunk will hold two full face helmets with some room to spare. As you already know, the width of the trunk is somewhat limiting and different types of helmets will fit differently. Some models will work with both standing while others may require one laid on its side.
In addition to the flawless design, the Corbin lid mounts easily and works with your stock trunk pad or the model available from Corbin. It functions on your Gold Wing's locking system and integrates with the existing trunk lock and hinges. You will need to transfer the latching brackets from the OEM lid which is done easily with common hand tools.
As you can see, it makes for a very nice look on the bike and actually adds a bit of detail to keep things looking sharp. Naturally we paint the lid to match your OEM color for a totally integrated look.
Once installed, the Corbin lid operates just like the original using the integrated Honda keylock and push-button open. Includes weather stripping preinstalled and seals nicely to the stock trunk body. The interior wall is predrilled to allow for use of either trunk pad (stock or Corbin) and also for additional accessories.
Works with the optional interior trunk light and luggage rack available from Honda. Our lid has internal hardware designed to work specifically with the Honda rack #08L70-MKC-A00 and will most likely not work with aftermarket racks. Just like with the stock unit, drilling of the lid is required for rack installation (instructions included).
