A lot has happened in the motorcycle industry in the last two decades: Big Tire Choppers...   Classic Bobbers...   return of the Cafe Racer...   Stretched Baggers... But it seems the Warbird style was never forgotten. This year Mike finally caved in to the miriad of requests and has redesigned the Warbird style for a new release!

The Warbird is a series of components designed to work together for a unified look or can be used individually to convert a stock Harley-Davidson FXR into a rolling work of art. Together the components capture the essence of classic Warbirds like the Corsair, Mustang and Thunderbolts for an aggressive stance and smooth aerodynamic line. The system is compised of:

•	Corbin Chin Spoiler
•	Smooth Side Covers
•	Warbird Tail section
•	Warbird Custom Saddle

Warbird Fairing takes its lines from the tank and carries them through the front of the machine. Frame mounted design installs independently of the forks and works with the stock legs or a wider set like we've done here (from VRSC model). Warbird fairing stays straight regardless of the handlebar direction so it always looks tight and aggressive. Corbin fairing hides frame tubes and wiring around the triple trees giving a very clean appearance.

Aerodynamically designed to cut through the wind while providing a degree of rider protection as well. Opens up a whole new world of opportunities for custom paint jobs, or you can have it painted to match your existing color scheme. Durable Fibertech construction comes in gel-coat ready for your painter's preparation. All mounting hardware and instructions are included.

Fairing includes the molded dash unit that mounts around the bars and really cleans up the installation. Also includes brackets to mount the gauges down and inside the fairing as shown. We've specifically designed our Warbird Fairing to work with the dual gauges shown. Some models of FXR may use sizes or styles of gauges that may require special brackets (not included).

Chin Spoiler is designed to integrate the lines of the FXR into the bottom end for a more visually streamlined look. Our spoiler flows over the frame downtubes with a large duct built into the design for proper engine cooling. We've designed this piece to work with the stock FXR foot controls, but with a little simple modification it can work with forward controls if you've already installed a set of those.

We offer the spoiler in ABS ready for your painter to scuff and primer or for a little extra pre-painted in gloss black and ready for installation right out of the box. Mounting is simple and we include all needed hardware and detailed instructions. This is a simple project for the average weekend mechanic. Constructed of ABS for a clean finish, durability and value.

For long term paint durability, many folks work with their painter for a little extra protection at the bottom because this is where you are most likely to get rock chips from the front tire. Likewise a small piece of clear contact paper would protect the paint and be virtually invisible and very simple to install or replace as needed.

Smooth Side Covers provide a very simple and clean look that molds gracefully into the contour of the frame, filling the space and smoothing out the lines. Very simple to install with no frame modifications required. Works with Corbin seats or stock models for maximum versatility.

Corbin side covers are available in two styles: FULL covers give a smooth line that fills in the entire "triangle" of the FXR chassis and therefore do not allow for passenger footpegs. If you are using the Warbird tail section, this is an excellent choice. Corbin's SHORT covers give a very similar look, but are brought up a little shorter on the bottom edge to allow for passenger footpegs.

Full covers are constructed of vacuum formed ABS. Short covers are constructed of Fibertech material. Both come ready for your painter's preparation for primer coat and include all required mounting brackets.

Warbird Tail Section is designed to replace the fender and inner fender as a single unit. Gives the bike a fast and clean line at the back that really puts the Warbird look over the top. Includes an integrated license plate frame that is frenched in to keep that clean line. This special frame by RWD (Russ Wernimont Designs) features LED lighting that provides Tail Light, Brake Light and Turn Signals all in one.

Inside, the Warbird Tail provides a hideaway for small items like cell phones, summer gloves, GDO remotes and keys. We've even lined the inside to keep these items safe and secure. Please note the storage area is not as large as it appears from the outside as there is room inside for tire travel. Total storage volume is approximately 4 liters. Warbird tail section is designed to work with a special saddle from Corbin.

Warbird Tail uses our rotomolding process that molds the entire unit as a single piece with no seams. Using a special polyurethane material purpose built for Corbin, the tail section come to you very smooth and ready for your painter's final preparation and primer. Long lasting durability with an excellent finish and perfect fit!

Warbird Saddle is designed specifically for use on the above tail section. Using high density Comfort Cell foam to provide firm support with a very low profile, the Corbin saddle is the perfect finish. Wide, dished seating provides excellent weight distribution so you'll be happy to spend time on your bike. Topped off with genuine leather seating in your choice of colors and styles. Includes custom stitch pattern and Warbird logo embroidery.

Installs simply using a key lock system that integrates with the stock chassis and Corbin Warbird tail. Locking installation provides secure storage for items in your tail section. If you're running a custom tank on your FXR, we can work with you to create a custom Warbird saddle that will match up perfectly. Talk to one of our Tech Reps for complete info.

Original Warbird

All together, the new Corbin Warbird system plays off the smooth lines of the original Corbin design while developing an identity all it's own. Both were inspired by the legendary planes of the 40's and pay homage to the heroic men who piloted them. Available only from Corbin, Purveyor of Fine Motorcycle Art!


A note about installation: Like most Corbin components, the Warbrid pieces are designed to bolt up to a stock chassis without requiring cutting, grinding or welding. However, please keep in mind that most FXR models have already been modified to some degree and likely make wide use of aftermarket components. As such some of the Corbin components may need to be modified slightly for clearance or you may need to improvise brackets (ie for your gauge setup). That is why we highly recommend all pieces are test fit BEFORE you apply any paint.

Fibertech Construction	Fairing is manufactured of our exclusive Fibertech™ material for durability and a clean finish. Specially formulated for Corbin, Fibertech™ gives us very tight tolerances with minimal shrinkage so each part comes out true to the original design.
Roto-Molded	Warbird tail section is roto-molded using a specialized polyurethane material to it comes out as a single piece with no seams. Extremely durable and a fine finish for your painter to work with.
Finish	All components come ready for your painter's final preparation for primer. ABS and Polyurethane components typically need only a light scuffing to be ready for primer. Fibertech components may require light glazing and sanding before primer.

Leather Options

Black Leather We adopted this particular leather (called "Mercedes") back in 2003. Supple, yet extremely durable and colorfast. A clean and classic, traditional look. Natural texture.

Carbon-Fiber leather, Black Genuine leather material with a nylon weave bonded to the outter surface to provide the look of Carbon Fiber. Provides excellent friction for sport riding and a look to match.

'Snake' leather, Black Specially treated cowhide resembles snakeskin. Extremely durable and colorfast. Provides an interesting texture in accent areas. Not applicable for side panels or welts.

Smoke Bomber Jacket leather Dark grays with a very soft touch and distressed look. Specially made for Corbin in automotive quality that is weather and UV resistant. Comes in a standard natural texture just like the above but darker. There is a lot of variation in this material from hide to hide.

CLASSIC leather, Black This genuine leather has an embossed weave look similar to that used as an accent on some H-D models. Great to coordinate with Roadking leather saddlebags. NOTE: This material is not a visual match to our Basketweave vinyl and is NOT recommended for welts.

Gray smooth leather A nice neutral gray color perfect for seating or accent areas. Smooth natural texture finish provides an excellent ride. Lighter in color than Gray Partners shown below. May 2014: We have a new supply of this material and it may not match the older version.

Grey Bomber Jacket leather Predominantly dark grey with light grey mottling. Has a soft touch and distressed look. Specially made for Corbin in automotive quality that is weather and UV resistant. Comes in a standard natural texture just like the above. There is a lot of variation in this material from hide to hide.

Bright Red leather A natural grain leather material that is Bright Red in color. Perfect for seating or accent panels for just a touch of color. A smooth, natural texture. Great for our Corvette styled couches and Corbin Bar Stools!

Red Bomber Jacket leather Burgundy and Red with a very soft touch and distressed look. Specially made for Corbin in automotive quality that is weather and UV resistant. Comes in a standard natural texture just like the above. There is a lot of variation in this material from hide to hide.

Navy Blue leather Just what it sounds like... a regular leather material that is Navy Blue in color. Perfect for seating or accent panels for just a touch of color. Comes in a smooth, natural texture.

Chocolate Brown leather A deep, rich dark brown leather that lends a warm tone to your saddle. Great in seating areas for a luxurious ride that breathes with your body. Natural smooth texture. May 2014: We have a new supply of this material and it may not match the older version.

Bomber Jacket leather: Warm brown with a very soft touch and distressed look. Specially made for Corbin in automotive quality that is weather and UV resistant. Comes in a standard natural texture. Beautiful material!

Whiskey Bomber Jacket leather: Lighter than our traditional Bomber Jacket with redish-orange highlights in the distressed areas. Specially made for Corbin in automotive quality that is weather and UV resistant. Comes in a standard natural texture. Beautiful material that coordinates well with HD's Whiskey Neat paint.

Aspen leather: Very luxurious touch with a warm, weathered (but not distressed) look. Another material specially made for Corbin saddles that is weather and UV resistant. Natural grain that shows color variance, a beautiful material!

Scout Brown leather: Rich, deep brown with a slight red hue. This natural grain leather is a good match to the color used on the stock seat of the Indian Scout Bobber in 2018. Durable, UV resistant and a nice feel.

Indian Brown 2017 This leather is a good match to the leather saddlebags and tank panel on the 2017 Indian Chief models. Not perfect, but really close and an excellent quality leather.

Tan Bomber Jacket leather Tan and Sand colors with a very soft touch and distressed look. Specially made for Corbin in automotive quality that is weather and UV resistant. Comes in a standard natural texture just like the above. There is a lot of variation in this material from hide to hide.

Tan leather If you want a warm tone seat, but don't want to worry about cleaning it all the time, Tan leather is good choice. Comes in a standard natural texture. May 2014: We have a new supply of this material and it may not match the older version.

Synthetic Options

Black vinyl Similar in texture and color to our standard black leather. We use this in the side panels instead of leather as it supports the foam shape and stays looking sharp longer.

Permacool Black vinyl A specially treated Black vinyl material that reflects infrared heat in order to provide a surface that is cooler to the touch after sitting in the sun. Reduces surface temperature by up to 26° F. Features a light, natural looking grain.

Black Basketweave If you were riding sportbikes in the 90s, then you're probably familiar with this classic material. Nearly all Corbin sportbike seats were running basketweave seating. Good seating grip, rides cool and extremely durable. NOTE: This material is not a visual match to our Classic leather.

Matte Black vinyl Very fine texture and deep color. Like the name implies, this vinyl has a matte surface rather than a semi-glossy surface like most materials. Gives a very clean look.

Asphalt Vinyl An interesting rough texture pattern that gives good traction and visually a nice contrast. We partner this with Carbon-Fiber seating a lot. Available only in black (just like real asphalt).

Trexx Black Nice fine texture and has a glossy appearance that makes a nice accent. Marine grade material really holds up to the elements.

Carbon-Fiber Vinyl, Black An embossed vinyl material used in the side panels to coordinate with our Carbon-Fiber leather seating. Also great for off-road bikes where leather seating isn't recommended.

Polaris Black A very nice material with a perforated look and excellent feel. This material is very durable and weather resistant (despite the perforated look) and provides a nice bit of contrast visually.

Carbonium An embossed vinyl material used for a high-tech, race look. Very shiny with a more aggressive pattern than our standard Carbon-Fiber look. Works great on Sportbikes and Dual Sports.

Black Alligator An embossed vinyl material designed to provide the look of Alligator hide. This also makes a very nice accent if you're looking for a little custom touch for the sides or tail of your seat.

Black Ostrich An embossed vinyl material designed to provide the look of Ostrich hide with a non-glossy sheen. This also makes a very nice accent if you're looking for a little touch of something for the sides or tail of your seat.

Black Grabber BH1 An embossed vinyl material used for a grippier seating surface on dual sport bikes and quads. This also makes a very nice accent if you're looking for a little subtle touch for the sides or tail of your seat.

Metal Flake Vinyl, Charcoal This is exactly what it sounds like, a vinyl with a sparkling metal flake embedded. Works perfect as an accent on your new seat.

Charcoal Alcantara Alcantara is a well-known synthetic suede material. We prefer the Charcoal rather than Black as it offers a lot of depth in appearance. We use the Alcantara EXO which has a waterproof membrane and is rated for marine and motorcycle use.

Charcoal Gray vinyl Colored vinyl is often used as a color coordinating welt or as an accent color in a seat. Vinyl is ideal for high stress areas like side panels since it doesn't show marks as it breaks in.

Pigeon Gray vinyl Colored vinyl is often used as a color coordinating welt or as an accent color in a seat. Vinyl is ideal for high stress areas like side panels since it doesn't show marks as it breaks in.

Gunmetal vinyl If you want a warm tone gray, this is the material for you. Vinyl is ideal for high stress areas like side panels since it doesn't show marks as it breaks in. Excellent as a welt or accent panel too.

Gray Partners vinyl If you want a 'one-color' look on your seat, this is the material to use along with Gray Partners Leather in the seating area. Otherwise can be used as an accent in any seat area.

Gray Alcantara Alcantara is a well-known synthetic suede material. Alcantara Gray is a nice medium warm tone material that makes an excellent trim. We use the Alcantara EXO which has a waterproof membrane and is rated for marine and motorcycle use.

Trexx Gear Warm toned charcoal color almost like titanium. Nice fine texture and has a glossy appearance when the light hits it. Marine grade material really holds up to the elements.

Carbon-Fiber vinyl, Silver Excellent for off road products or high wear areas in your seat. Embossed vinyl material provides a sporty look and works great in any seat area. This material is not a color match to Silver CF leather.

Brushed Aluminum This is a really neat material that lives up to its name. Appears medium silver in color with shiny reflective highlights in light and a brushed appearance. Makes a great contrasting welt.

Brushed Aluminum - Dark Like our standard brushed aluminum with a darker tone... As if a smoke tint were added to brushed aluminum. Appears medium silver in highlights and charcoal in shadows. Makes a great contrasting welt.

Ghost Gray vinyl Colored vinyl is often used as a color coordinating welt or as an accent color in a seat. Vinyl is ideal for high stress areas like side panels since it doesn't show marks as it breaks in.

White vinyl Colored vinyl is often used as a color coordinating welt or as an accent color in a seat. Vinyl is ideal for high stress areas like side panels since it doesn't show marks as it breaks in.

Espresso Alcantara Alcantara is a well-known synthetic suede material. Espresso is rich, deep brown in the sun and nearly black indoors. We use the Alcantara EXO, which has a waterproof membrane and is rated for marine and motorcycle use.

Otter Brown vinyl Colored vinyl is often used as a color coordinating welt or as an accent color in a seat. Vinyl is ideal for high stress areas like side panels since it doesn't show marks as it breaks in.

Congac vinyl Colored vinyl is often used as a color coordinating welt or as an accent color in a seat. Vinyl is ideal for high stress areas like side panels since it doesn't show marks as it breaks in.

Crimson (Pecan) Colored vinyl is often used as a color coordinating welt or as an accent color in a seat. Vinyl is ideal for high stress areas like side panels since it doesn't show marks as it breaks in.

Dark Tan (Gold) Vinyl Colored vinyl is often used as a color coordinating welt or as an accent color in a seat. Vinyl is ideal for high stress areas like side panels since it doesn't show marks as it breaks in.

Tan Alcantara Alcantara is a well-known synthetic suede material. This one has a nice, soft, warm tone in a medium Tan shade. We use the Alcantara EXO, which has a waterproof membrane and is rated for marine and motorcycle use.

Goldenrod vinyl Colored vinyl is often used as a color coordinating welt or as an accent color in a seat. Vinyl is ideal for high stress areas like side panels since it doesn't show marks as it breaks in.

Metal Flake Vinyl, Gold This is exactly what it sounds like, a vinyl with a sparkling metal flake embedded. Works perfect as an accent on your new seat.

Camo Vinyl "Hidden Creek" pattern camo vinyl has a very nice grippy surface that makes if a very good choice for Dual Sports, Quads and the like. Very water and UV resistant and durable.

Yellow vinyl Colored vinyl is often used as a color coordinating welt or as an accent color in a seat. Vinyl is ideal for high stress areas like side panels since it doesn't show marks as it breaks in.

Carbon-Fiber vinyl, Yellow An embossed texture that gives the look of carbon-fiber for a sporty look. Use anywhere on a saddle where you want a splash of color or more traction. Great for off road products!

Taupe vinyl Colored vinyl is often used as a color coordinating welt or as an accent color in a seat. Vinyl is ideal for high stress areas like side panels since it doesn't show marks as it breaks in.

Metal Flake Vinyl, Whiskey This is exactly what it sounds like, a vinyl with a sparkling metal flake embedded. Works perfect as an accent on your new seat. Predominantly orange base with gold flake.

Night Blue Alcantara Alcantara is a well-known synthetic suede material. Night Blue is a rich Navy Blue in natural light and near black indoors. We use the Alcantara EXO which has a waterproof membrane and is rated for marine and motorcycle use.

	Front Fender and tank are NOT included. Shown above we have painted a stock Harley-Davidson FXR tank and FX fender to coordinate.
	All components MUST be test fit on the bike before painting. This will allow for modifiations if required to allow clearance for aftermarket components. Once test fit the parts are then ready to remove and send out for paint.
	In the tail section we use the RWD license plate frame / tail light assembly mounted upside down. It will be necessary to switch the wires for the left & right turn signals to achieve the correct effect.
	If ordered as a complete kit, we include the full side covers that do not allow for use of passenger pegs as the Warbird tail section does not provide passenger seating.
	Although no cutting, grinding or welding is required, installation may pose some challenges especially when other aftermarket pieces are involved. Our chin spoiler and side covers are very simple to intall. Tail section with seat is slightly more difficult and requires rewiring of turn signals and tail/brake light. Front fairing adds another degree of difficulty as you will need to disconnect and reroute handlebar wiring as well as cables and brake line.

CUSTOM COVERS: You are always welcome to choose from our wide variety of colors and material options for your saddle. We provide these options at no extra charge as long as we can use our existing cover patterns. Creating a new cover design requires specialized custom work and will result in additional charges.

SADDLE WARRANTY: Basepan, foam and hardware of the Corbin saddle is warranted to the original owner for life. Cover materials, Heaters and workmanship are warranted for one year. Product will only be authorized to be shipped back for refining of shape or to replace/rectify defective parts. In cases where the rework requires a new cover, a recover charge will be applied. Cash or credit refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization number (RMA).

FIBERGLASS WARRANTY: Structural integrity of Corbin fiberglass components are warranted to the original owner for life. Finish and paint are warranted against manufacturing defect for one year.
