Farewell Rodent

Carl "Rodent" Metzger took his final jouney Monday, January 18th, 2016 at the age of 79 in Daytona Beach, FL.

Rodent travelled from coast to coast, capturing and documenting motorcycle events for the rest of the world to live vicariously through. His apologue reminds all to be bold enough to live life by your own terms; be your own author.

Einstein in appearance and in advice, his critical analysis made his endorsements and opinions invaluable. His wealth of knowledge made him a better resourse than Google.

As a rolling stone gathers no moss, neither did Rodent. Scurrying around in perpetuum, his journalistic approach to life proved to never underestimate the power of a pen and that a picture indubitably is worth a thousand words.

Metzger knew everybody, but chose few to be a part of the interior of his personal story. To his chosen family, he was appreciative and unmitigated. The adulation, respect, devotion and allegiance he showed to his selected family will be treasured. The respect, unwavering fostering, love and support they showed in return will forever be manifested.

Pericles states, "What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others." Photography and jounalism freezes you in time, making your presence live on indefinitely. Thank you Rodent for weaving us an interesting story. If you were lucky enough to be a part of Rodent's parable, well, you were lucky enough... If not, FTW, right Carl?
