The two bottom images (Suzuki M109 R & Kawasaki ZX-14) are artist renderings showing products in the works now. In fact, the ZX image was courtesy of our main R&D dude Vince Zavala. The amazing thing is that he's never used Photoshop before yet was able to pull it off with just a little help from his 13 year old son!

You know... people with talent really tick me off. They just make life more difficult for hacks like me. HA!

We haven't actually entered our products into any kind of competition, but we're pretty excited about our new Smuggler designs and the modular seating system. In fact, we just finished one up for what Rider magazine has declared the Bike of the Year... The Yamaha FZ1. Take a great ride, add some traditional Corbin comfort combined with a splash of Corbin style and you've got a recipe for good times. Congrats to Yamaha! And congrats to Chuck for working in another shameless plug for Corbin products under the guise of congratulating someone else.

Yea! It's that time again! Remember, if you're reading this letter, then you're automatically entered in our monthly prize drawing. For the month of May, our winner is:

BRUCE... uhhh... something.

Damn, I don't have a last name! Let's try this: If your name is Bruce and you subscribed with an e-mail address from MDOOR.COM, then you're our winner! Now, I'm looking for a specific person here, so if your name is Bruce too, you can't win by just opening an account at MDOOR. If that's you listed above, send me a confirmation mail within the next two weeks to: and claim a $300 Corbin Gift Certificate. You must send the mail from the account you use to receive this letter so I can verify it's you. Two weeks or it's back up for grabs.

Not that we ever believed the city was going to change their collective minds or anything, but we were holding out hope for something to happen. As it is, with just three weeks left, there is NOT going to be a Hollister rally (insert an unapologetic stream of billingsgate here). Actually, let me rephrase that...

There is not going to be an OFFICIAL Hollister rally! From what we've been hearing, there's still going to be a glut of bikes in town over July 4th weekend. Lot's of people are still coming to pay homage at the "Birthplace of the American Biker"... it would seem whether the city likes it or not.

Well, if you're coming, we'll be here. We'll be having an open house at the factory and offering free installations and a rally discount through the errr... "event". We're even printing up a limited edition "Hollister Rally Cancelled" tee shirt! The local motorcycle shops also seem to have plans to setup for the impending non-rally. So just to make this perfectly clear, we will not be having a non-rally that won't take place over the weekend around July 4th. OK? See ya then.

Hey, we popped up on the show again last week! And what a fine looking group of individuals at Corbin's eh? (except for the tall, goofy lookin' circus freak with the spikey hair of course.) Anyway, our buddies over at Bradley-David productions have really got a full plate in front of them with TWENTY-SIX new episodes this season! Heck, we can't seem to even keep track of what's airing every week, let alone MAKE a show every week. Kudos BDP!

Also, does anyone else find it interesting that the Speed Channel wanted more new episodes this year? Yeah, they do that when they've got a show that everybody likes! Again... kudos BDP!

Wow. After our last newsletter we got 38 unsubscriptions! This is something I take a bit personally I'm afraid. So I read back through the literary swill I traditionally spam y'all with and all I can find is a reference to Armed Forces day. To anyone that was offended by our flag waving let me offer you my sincerest "Waaaaaaaah!" (You thought I was going to apologize didn't you.)

Nah, I don't see any reason that we should say we're sorry for offering our respects to those serving in the armed forces. Besides, all the folks that were offended already un-subbed so they won't even be reading this. For our international readers, we fully support your right to respect your armed forces too. OK?

I will climb down off my soap box now.

Right after Americade we're packing up our bag-o-tricks and headed south for:

Honda Hoot
Knoxville, TN

Fourth of July weekend-ish, 2006

Have a great week and we'll talk atcha next week,
