| June 14, 2016: It's coming together and we're getting parts out of the paint shop for assembly. We're shooting to show off the new prototype at the Hollister Rally this coming Fourth of July weekend. Stop by the factory and check it out! December 19, 2014: Working on the body design and mono-coque chassis. Have battery placement figured out and the rear single sided swing arm coming together. Sparrow will use an Enerdel Lithium Ion Manganese Cobalt battery pack with 156 Volts and 20 KWH. The Automotive validated cases are made in USA and weigh in at 377 lbs total. Corbin aluminum single sided swing arm is patented and incorporates an HPEV 3 phase AC motor that puts out 30 HP. Naturally the setup includes regen braking to maximize range. US patents 6,464,030, 6,883,629 & 5,960,901. Gates belt drive, integrated tensioner, hydraulic and mechanical rear brake. |
