Greetings! Well gang I guess it's time to face reality... It's actually been a full year since I've written a newsletter. I keep telling myself "I'm going to do one this week...     ok, THIS week...     alright, I mean it this time... THIS WEEK!" But alas it has come to naught. The simple fact is that in this day and age we have to run a real tight ship and that means everybody has to chip in to get the work done. Yes, my friends, even Chuck! I know, it boggles the mind. Looking on the bright side, that means I get to keep my not-quite-as-cushy-as-it-used-to-be job. On the down side, it means I actually have to get up off my ever increasing posterior and do something productive. Never fear, Dear Reader, for this is the week I will stage my triumphant return to the Corbin Times Home Edition... and if not this week, then surely NEXT week! In the mean time, my heartfelt thanks to all of you who have actually missed our little semi-regular missive and have even taken the time to write and inquire as to my well being. Really, it means a lot... Thank you from the bottom of my heart! And furthermore, know this... if I ever get around to writing my book you're going to be among the first to know about it. In other words I'm going to put the pinch of you for some cash! ~Ride safe and be well! Chuck the newsletter editor. PS. I know, I know... but LIFE isn't fair! It if was, then wouldn't rice crispy treats be made out of Cocoa Crispies?! And wouldn't the "Fun Size" Snickers bar be roughly the size of a large baseball bat instead of the silly little nugget that it really is? Hang in there, I'll be back... really.
