Hollywood Solo saddle gives your Softail a slick, low profile look while providing you with reasonable, boulevard cruising comfort. Our Fibertech basepan provides a perfect, flowing fit along the tank, chassis and fender, but rides on rubber bumpers to protect your paint job. Naturally, Hollywood Solo is built up with high density Comfort Cell® foam to provide a firm resilient ride despite the incredibly low profile. It’s seats like this one that brought Mike to the development of our infinite ratio foam!
Hollywood Solo comes standard with genuine leather seating in your choice of colors and styles (shown on this page in our standard Mercedes leather). Leather seating is great for motorcycle saddles because it breathes with your body and will break in with the foam shape for a personalized fit. Leather is extremely durable and works great for motorcycle saddles. Over time your saddle will age and develop a unique character just like your leather jacket and chaps do. If you care for it properly with a quality conditioner like our Saddle Cream, your leather saddle will be your riding buddy for many years.
Our saddle mounts with a new key lock system designed by the Corbin wizards. We include a special bracket that bolts up to your Softail's chassis and has a stainless steel latch pin on top. Once this bracket is in place, you install the Hollywood Solo easily with a supplied key. Just slide the front of the seat in place with a tongue into the chassis at the front. Then lower the saddle onto the latch pin and push down firmly. To remove the saddle, just insert the key and turn to release the lock and saddle is ready to remove... quick and simple!
Hollywood Solo is a great setup if you want to have a low and slammed look. Notice how the shaping matches perfectly to the tank and fender... this kind of fit is available only in a Corbin saddle. Our rigid Fibertech basepan provides a good foundation for the foam shape and rides on rubber bumpers to protect your paint job. Our exclusive Comfort Cell® foam is engineered with an ergonomic shape that provides a greater area of body contact for better weight distribution and maximum comfort with a low profile. Sculpted shaping in the nose area assures you still have good ground reach at stop signs.

ERGONOMIC SHAPING: A major part of the design criteria of the Corbin saddle is the Ergonomic shape. This means the saddle's foam shape is designed to emulate the curves of the human body. GENUINE LEATHER: We use leather in all panels of the seat that contact your body. This provides a luxurious ride that breathes with your body. KEY LOCK INSTALLATION: This saddle model uses a new mounting system designed by Corbin to allow installation and removable with a simple key lock. Once the included brackets are installed, the saddle can be removed easily by just inserting and turning the key. Need a demo? Just click the button.
Installation: Hollywood Solo installs on your bike easily with all brackets and necessary components included. Install the Corbin brackets onto your chassis and slide the rear of the saddle into place engaging the Corbin bracket. Then lower the front of the saddle into place and latch by pushing down on saddle. This image from a 2006 model differs slightly from the 2008+, please see installation instructions above.
If the main fuse is in the way of installing the bracket, shift it over the battery. The basepan will have a small groove allowing space for the fuse. Shown in the image to the right, move the fuse from point "A" to point "B".
Take good care of your new seat and the seat will take good care of you. Designed to help your leather saddle remain weather resistant and keeps the hide supple. This will allow the leather to break in and age gracefully. Great for boots, gloves & jackets too. Simple rub-in, buff out application. *More Info*

All Corbin saddles (with very little exception) include Genuine Leather Seating to provide a luxurious look and feel.... don't let anybody tell you that vinyl is just as good! You wouldn't buy vinyl boots would you?
PLEASE NOTE: Corbin products are designed to fit very close to your bike for a clean look. Due to this, other accessories or options can inhibit proper fit. As an example: Tank Consoles (dashes), ignition modules, exhaust systems, sissy bars, etc. If you have accessories installed on your bike, please let us know so we can verify the fit for you.
SADDLE WARRANTY: Basepan, foam and hardware of the Corbin saddle is warranted to the original owner for life. Cover materials, Heaters and workmanship are warranted for one year. Product will only be authorized to be shipped back, freight pre-paid, for refining of shape or to replace/rectify defective parts. In cases where the rework requires a new cover, a recover charge will be applied. Cash or credit refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization number (RMA).
FIBERGLASS WARRANTY: Structural integrity of Corbin fiberglass components are warranted to the original owner for life. Finish and paint are warranted against manufacturing defect for one year. Damage to product and / or painted surfaces from outside forces or misuse is specifically not covered under warranty. Cash or credit refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number.
