Widowmaker saddle for 2008-2009 H-D Softail Custom
Our Widowmaker saddle is just what you need to take your Softail Custom to the four corners of the Earth and back in total comfort. We've built a maximized seating platform that flows with the lines of the bike to look great and keep that vintage look. Naturally, our ergonomically shaped seating gives you massive support for the long haul. The only reason you'll find for stopping is the need for fuel.
Designed to fit with H-D sissy bar upright #51849-07 (original equipment on 2007+ Softail Custom FXSTC). Sissy bar upright not included. Integrated sissy bar pad provides nearly ten inches of vertical back support for your passenger. Front seating area give you a full eight inches of vertical support with the option of a removable rider backrest for additional support.
Supported by internal hardware for a clean look, the Corbin backrest is angle adjustable to provide a personalized fit to your posture. Our special hardware allows positioning of the backrest fore & aft for riders of different stature with a fold down feature to ease mounting the bike. With model #02-SB installed (shown), you get over sixteen inches of vertical support!
Both seating platforms are sculpted to fit the shape of the human body. This ergonomic design is one of the critical features of the Corbin saddle. Wide, dished platforms create more square inches of body contact and longer lasting support without hot spots. Near the nose, we sculpt the saddle narrower to allow for good ground reach at stop signs. Inside, our exclusive Comfort CellŪ foam provides a firm, resilient ride that lasts.
As with most Corbin saddles, this model uses genuine leather seating panels for a ride that breathes with your body. Luxurious and durable, leather will provide comfort for many years and will break in along with the foam shape for a personalized fit to your posture. Choose a center stripe material that suits your taste for a custom touch. Available in: smooth black, black faux-ostrich or grey faux snakeskin.
Designed to fit perfectly to the tank, chassis, fender and sissy bar upright... Corbin mastered where the leather meets the metal. This kind of fit is available only in genuine Corbin saddles through our patented Integrated Molding system. This process allows us to engineer extremely tight tolerances and fit complex shapes.
Installation is simple with a tongue in the front and bolts to sissybar at the rear.

Our most popular backrest model is the perfect blend of form and function. The size looks visually appropriate on most every seat yet is large enough to provide good, sculpted support. The standard Corbin backrest for years! This model is the same size and shape as the Standard Ovalbac above, but without the hole in the middle. Provides plenty of sculpted back support without looking too big on the bike. Works in both the rider or passenger seating area on virtually all Corbin saddle models. Like the Standard Ovalbac show above, but with a larger contact area for added support. Works great as a passenger backrest in Dual Touring models. Because of the added width, we do not recommend this model in the front position while carrying a passenger... it may interfere with their legs. Sculpted to provide wide ergonomic support. This model is specially designed to be used in the large Dual Touring seats (like HD Baggers) or in Master's Type saddles as found on the Goldwings. All Corbin saddles (with very little exception) include Genuine Leather Seating to provide a luxurious look and feel.... don't let anybody tell you that vinyl is just as good! You wouldn't buy vinyl boots would you?
PLEASE NOTE: Corbin products are designed to fit very close to your bike for a clean look. Due to this, other accessories or options can inhibit proper fit. As an example: Tank Consoles (dashes), ignition modules, exhaust systems, sissy bars, etc. If you have accessories installed on your bike, please let us know so we can verify the fit for you.
SADDLE WARRANTY: Basepan, foam and hardware of the Corbin saddle is warranted to the original owner for life. Cover materials, Heaters and workmanship are warranted for one year. Product will only be authorized to be shipped back, freight pre-paid, for refining of shape or to replace/rectify defective parts. In cases where the rework requires a new cover, a recover charge will be applied. Cash or credit refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization number (RMA).
FIBERGLASS WARRANTY: Structural integrity of Corbin fiberglass components are warranted to the original owner for life. Finish and paint are warranted against manufacturing defect for one year. Damage to product and / or painted surfaces from outside forces or misuse is specifically not covered under warranty. Cash or credit refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number.
