Just wanted to let you know that I went on a 2000 mile ride this last week on the new seat purchased this fall. I am very pleased with the unit and it was even better than I had hoped it would be.
Wanted to let you know, I received my order, extremely pleased with the quality, looks and feel of the seat. Took it for a 400 mile ride this morning. So very happy!!!
I ride a BMW GS and your product has helped make that motorcycle an all day machine. I can ride hundreds of miles with no discomfort at all. For that, I thank you.
I also ride a Yamaha WR250F Enduro. It is an excellent motorcycle, and does an outstanding job of performing like a genuine motorcrosser while still being an excellent trail ride. I have a problem however with it's incredibly uncomfortable seat. I need all day support under my buttox... not my groin. My last trip to Mexico resulted in an injury that I care not to mention, but I'm sure you can surmise it's basis. My question is, how can I go about getting a Corbin Off Road seat for this Yamaha? I see you have expanded your Off Road line since I last visited your website and I wonder if one for the WR may be in the works. If not, could one be developed from an existing platform? Help me out here. Me and my "boys" thank you.
I was recently in to have my seat reworked on as it was not perfect as my Corbin Harley seat was. Your shop did a great job evaluating what was wrong and fixed it perfectly as I stopped in on the way to Oregon. Just got back and it feels great.
This past summer I rode into the Hollister shop on a whim to see about getting a seat made for my BMW GS1200. I saw their products and talked to their staff and next thing I knew they were building me a custom seat for my beloved GS. I told them what I wanted and they exceeded my expectations. The money spent was reasonable and so worth while. My seat was built extra tall and with a narrow width up front to allow for stand up riding just as I asked for. The leather was blackish gray in color and simple and functional as I asked for. Comfort wise "it's the bomb". I have had the seat for several months and ride very aggressive, both on and off road. Recently my 250 lb. frame came down hard on some exposed rocks and bottomed out the skid plate a couple of times at high speed and the rear seats bracket busted loose. The seat stayed put and I wasn't even aware until I removed the seat for washing. I took the seat back to Corbin this AM and they made it better than new while I ate breakfast at their restaurant. The repair was quick and service was GREAT! They charged me nothing and I was off on another amazing ride. Buy from these folks, it will be the best money you spend on any aftermarket part!
I love this seat. It has made long distance riding pleasurable. The shape, cushioning, materials and craftsmanship are perfect. I've pitched the stock seat which does not compare to the quality of the Corbin saddle. Also, I recently added a Fuzeblocks fuse box to supply switched power to the seats. Now I don't have to remember to turn off the seat heater. This is a good idea for your other customers. Thanks for the great seat.
